Émile de Cyanara DOB 25.06.1991
Parents: Owlpurr Lancelot and Pandapaws Deborah
Émile is our very first Ragdoll in all ways. He came to us in 1991 from Switzerland . He is pure magic; at the moment he has got severe kidney failure, but he still leads you to a wonderful land. When I look into his eyes, I feel myself and all the rest disappearing.
He has always taken care of the other cats; he has been the leader, the wise old man, the dreamer who stays with dying or sick creatures until the end, and prepares the way to heaven for them.
We bought him as a pet, and he is THE RAGDOLL in all ways. His personality is more than perfect; all people who came to visit - friends, pet people and breeders - said he is the best creature they've ever met in their lives.

Ophelia de Cyanara 07.09.1992 - 24.03.1999
Parents: Charming Doll's Valentino and Lonerock Marianne
She was our first breeding Ragdoll: the most beautiful one we've ever had. If Émile has been the moon, she was the sun. She literally brought sunshine in our lives.
She took care of the other girls when they had babies, and shared my bed with her best friend Alison. She had several kittens, and never produced HCM or PKD, even if mated to different partners. She died of closed pyometra, and her heart and kidneys were perfect. We lost a too important part of our heart with her.

Toys Alison
18.08.1993 - 18.08.2006
Parents: Edison de Cyanara and Shannon
A cruel fate took Alison away on her last birthday.
She was our largest girl, extremely sweet, and too soft to be a living being! She had suffered a lot after Ophelia's death. She has been the most elegant cat we've had: perfectly synchronised, walking with her long tail upwards with grace, she was a fairy queen.
We miss her like the last working part of our heart. She died of pancreas cancer. Select: How to help a cat with pancreas cancer / chronic pancreatitis

Aysha del Benaco
06.10.1994 - 30.07.2005
Parents: Batschi's Casanova and Aura of May Day
Aysha was a very active girl, quite dominant, very intelligent and affectionate. A real character!
She has been a very good mum for her babies, and a funny companion. She was Jetsam's fiancée: they loved each other. She died of cancer due to vaccination.

Adonis
DOB
22.06.95
Parents: Addeilo Ragucci Blue and Dreamcats Razmajazz
A very nice blue mitted boy, too vivacious for our house, he needed a large garden! After he had fallen out of our terrace and was wounded, we gave him to a friend, who already had a kitten from us. There he could run and play!
He never developed HCM or PKD.

 |
Merlin
25.06.1995 - 03.11.1997
Parents: Pandapaws Danbo and Fawpawz Lacymitts
Merlin was just too sweet, beautiful and funny. Irresistible. He acted like a clown, hitting our heads with his paw while we were climbing the stairs. He liked to be cuddled, and to steal in the trash basket.
He died too young, full of water. It was very hard to tell, although there was no doubt about his heart being damaged. Being like a kitten, he seemed to be surprised himself when his agony was put to an end. Just too sweet as ever.
The clearing up came out much later: we had to wait until 2005-2006.

Pawlabout Jetsam
16.05.1996 - 04.08.1998
Parents: Pandapaws Cocomero and Mageker Per Gentlefolk
Jet was a handsome colourpoint boy, who embraced us with his paw and licked our faces and hands. He was our first sprayer. He had lymphosarcoma, and died too young.
He had such a dignity in his illness and death, like the other cats, I have never seen something similar in human beings. |
 |
Bluebelle
27.07.1996 - 20.09.1999
Parents: Addeilo Ragucci Blue and Petil-lu Ezmirelda
Bluebelle was a sweet, rather shy girl, who was Aysha's fellow, such like Dick Dasterdly and Muttley.
She did everything Aysha did. She died full of water. |
 |
Purrdy
06.06.1997 - 26.01.2006
Parents: Evara Quicklover Henry and Petil-lu Arianna
Purrdy was my personal secretary at writing. He was used to sit on my lap, licked my hands and headbutted my arms, like Jetsam. He reminded me Merlin in other ways. He had so deep blue eyes, he was just beautiful. We played at "broken mouse": he had his personal mice toys he liked to tear, and was a scorpion killer!
He died in the most horrible way I have seen in my whole life. I can't still believe that my sweet Purrdy died like that. I wake up at night and see his eyes in the blackness. I hear his yelling. I will never forget.

Slipperpaws Pimpa
DOB 14.03.1997
Parents: Ophelia de Cyanara and Merlin
Pimpa is my best friend. The problem is that her daughter Mini has decided she is my best friend too, so she is jealous!
She loves her granddaughters, whom she likes to play with. She runs like a kitten at 9 years old! She is the First Lady, and people must look at her first! She reminds Ophelia in her eyes, her so special look that invited you to travel into her, and the same funny way of walking, duck-like. |
 |
Osiris de Saya San
DOB 06.04.1998
Parents : Indiana Johnes de Saya San and Highlander de Cyanara
Osiris reminded me of Ophelia in some ways; she had an excellent pedigree, was bred by excellent breeders who were giving up breeding Ragdolls. So I had to take her home!
A non-stop talking girl, very busy, Purrdy's permanent wife. |
 |
Slipperpaws Trilli
DOB 07.06.2002
Parents: Osiris de Saya San and Purrdy
Trilli (Pici) is a dominant, funny, affectionate girl. I had to give her to a friend of mine after her husband and her cat's loss. Her cat was Slipperpaws Oliver, and he died of HCM. She had kept him entire, he didn't spray, for a stud service with Osiris. He was neutered when we told her we were giving up breeding: he died a few months later.
Trilli is a carrier, but so far, she is ok.

 |
Piccolo Naviglio
DOB 23.06.2002
Parents: Happytime Buster and Trendipuss Alexii
Piccolo's name tells all: he is a very large cat, but he thinks he is a baby! He likes to be cuddled, to sit in small places, to chase insects and lay on the sofa for hours, but he shouts a lot about his property when he sees another cat! |
 |
Slipperpaws Oliver, Rosita (Rosi) and Charlotte Sometimes (Mini)
Oliver was born on 06.03.2003, and died on 23.06.2005 of HCM.
Rosi and Mini were born on 08.09.2003. Rosi died on 23.03.2006 of HCM.
Mini has got HCM, and she is rather fine at the moment.
Parents: Slipperpaws Pimpa and Purrdy
They are THE ANGELS. Oliver brought light from heaven after Roberto's loss, into Angela's life.
Like Rosi, he was the sweetest cat in the world.
Rosi followed me everywhere like Ophelia had done: she has been the most intelligent cat in the house, along with Émile, Mini and Cip (Amélie), that is to say Mini's daughter.
She did crazy things, such as trying to defend Paola from her new slippers, or hitting the heater where she got trapped in there! She brought me toys, filled my bed with fur toys, such a huge soft penguin and even a witch's plastic finger. and she brought me a sheet when it was cold.
Rosi's loss has broken my heart in a way I hadn't felt since Ophelia's death.
But angels never stay for long.
Mini is so merry, and she is a great flies hunter! She is a real concurrent against our carnivour plant. she is like Scrat squirrel of Ice Age with dried food, and, as she doesn't run any longer, at night we play in my bed with her toys.
She talks a lot, like Ophelia and Rosi did. She tells me a lot of things with a voice that's simply celestial music!
Her eyes, like Rosi's, are very large. And navy blue. She's just too beautiful to be..

Slipperpaws Amélie (Cip, pron. Chip) and Arabella (Ciop, pron. Chop)
DOB 11.04.2005
Parents: Piccolo Naviglio and Slipperpaws Charlotte Sometimes (Mini)
They are Mini's daughters. We had kept them because we gave up breeding, hoping we can enjoy Ragdolls' company for a few years more, and when he found out about HCM, we had already placed Rosi's babies, but were on time not to sell/give at last Mini's babies! We chose to keep more grief to come for us, instead of charging other people with it.
Cip is merry, playful, non-stop talking. She shouts "Good morning!" everyday! And wants everybody to be happy! She has got a full fake mice collection, and she wants us to throw them to her and brings them back to us. When we stop, she sits looking at us firmly, or she hides to see what happens.
Ciop is soft like Alison.
Being sweet, she like soft things, like fur little balls or flowers, that she gently puts in our hands. She is like her father: likes to sit in narrow places, to be cuddled and makes "the bread" on your lap!
They are our consolation: the only cats that can run and play (by now), and bring some happiness, the happiness of being kittens..
